Important: This kit provides informational environmental testing results only. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, screen for, or treat any disease or health condition. Results describe what was present in the sample submitted. Consult a licensed physician regarding any health concerns. Consult a licensed environmental remediation, mitigation, or mold-assessment professional regarding any remediation, clearance, or mitigation decisions.

Category notes

The statement above applies to every kit we sell. These notes add to it where they apply:

• Drug residue: Surface-residue results are informational. Some states require formal disclosure, or remediation by a licensed contractor, above set contamination levels before a property is sold, leased or lived in. See the state rules in Terms §17.
• Mold and mycotoxins: Some states limit who may perform mold assessment and remediation, or require a license for either. See the state rules in Terms §17.
• Water: Results from our kits do not satisfy the New Jersey Private Well Testing Act (N.J.S.A. 58:12A-26 et seq.) for real-estate transactions, which requires sampling by a certified-lab employee. For a real-estate transaction in New Jersey, contact an NJDEP-certified lab and certified sampler.

Informational purposes only

BioDwell provides environmental testing services that help you understand conditions in your home or workplace. All results, analysis, reports and recommendations from BioDwell are for informational and educational purposes only. They give you data about your environment; they don't diagnose or treat any medical condition.

Not medical advice

Nothing BioDwell provides, including results, reports and recommendations, is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Don't rely on our results in place of professional medical advice. Talk to a qualified healthcare professional about any health concerns, symptoms or conditions, and before making decisions about your health or treatment.

Our reports and recommendations

BioDwell reads your results and writes the report you receive, including next steps. Our recommendations are based on established scientific standards and industry practice. They are informational and don't replace advice from your healthcare provider or a licensed professional in the relevant field.

Not a healthcare provider

BioDwell is an environmental testing service. BioDwell, its employees, contractors, testing partners and consultants do not provide medical, nursing or other healthcare services, and nothing we provide makes us your healthcare provider.

Not evidence, certification or clearance

Our results and reports describe what was in the sample you sent. We don't promise that a court, insurer, lender, buyer, landlord or government agency will accept them, and they are not a clearance test, certification or inspection. If you need results for a sale, a lease, a legal matter or an insurance claim, talk to us before you order and check the rules that apply to you.

Variability of results

Environmental results can vary with many factors, including:

• how the sample was collected, and the technique used;
• conditions at the time of sampling, such as temperature, humidity and ventilation;
• the analysis methods used and their limits;
• the time between sampling and analysis;
• the condition of the kit materials during shipping and storage.

No guarantee of outcomes

BioDwell doesn't guarantee specific outcomes, results or accuracy beyond the scope of the analysis our testing partners perform. Environmental testing is subject to variables that can affect results.

We make no warranties or representations about the completeness, accuracy, reliability or suitability of results for any purpose beyond general informational use.

Limitation of responsibility

BioDwell is not liable for any action taken, or not taken, based on our results, reports or recommendations. Make decisions about remediation, medical treatment or changes to your environment with qualified professionals in the relevant field.
