How it started
One house at a time wasn’t enough.
We began in 2025 with in-home assessments around Boise. Behind the scenes we automated everything we could, down to an inspection app we built ourselves. It showed us that the part that helped people most could reach far more homes than we could ever drive to.
So we put it in a box. You take the samples yourself, send them back, and get a report for a lot less than a visit.
Our backgrounds are in healthcare and research. BioDwell is not a medical service, and our reports are not medical advice.

Cory Huffine
CEO, Co-founder
Turning complex science into answers people can actually use.
Cory directs BioDwell's strategy, vision, and growth, drawing on 28 years in healthcare, from family practice and urgent care to hyperbaric medicine and pain management.
Across 12 years and more than 300 Phase I–IV trials as a Sub-Investigator, Cory built a career turning dense research data into clear, usable answers. It is the same work BioDwell does with environmental testing.
Cory, his wife, and their children spend their time in the Idaho outdoors: hiking, paddle boarding, skiing, mountain biking, and exploring the Northwest.

Esther Huffine
COO, Co-founder
The operational backbone behind every kit and every report.
Esther, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, is a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a diverse background in clinical research and patient care.
Her practice centers on a holistic view of health, one that recognizes how environmental exposures in our food, air, and water shape both physical and mental well-being.
As a mother of four, Esther wanted a reliable way to understand her own family’s exposures. She found that trustworthy testing and clear guidance were hard to come by. She and her husband founded BioDwell to change that, bringing accessible testing resources and education to families who want to make their homes healthier places to live, grow, and thrive.

Jalen Winegar
Indoor Environmental Professional
Connecting the field work to your experience as a customer.
Jalen connects the field work to the customer experience. With prior roles as a Clinical Research Coordinator and in perioperative care, he brings the collaborative mindset that comes from high-stakes healthcare environments to every kit we ship and every report we deliver. He has also worked as an indoor environmental professional and assessed many homes in person.
A former High School Baseball Coach, Jalen credits coaching with shaping his leadership approach: build culture, make clear decisions under pressure, and treat every individual with the same respect. That team-player mentality carries into his work with clients, testing partners, and the technology platform that turns test results into clear reports people can actually use.
An avid outdoorsman, Jalen centers his life around faith and family.
