Accessibility Statement

1. Our goal

We want everyone to be able to use BioDwell, including people who use assistive technology. We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

2. Where we are today

We don't fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA yet. In September 2026 we reviewed the site with automated checks, keyboard-only testing and zoom and reflow testing, and we found gaps. The ones we know about are listed below, and we treat them as bugs to fix.

3. What's in place

• A "Skip to content" link at the top of every page.
• Headings, landmarks and lists that help screen-reader users move around a page.
• A chat assistant you can use with a keyboard, which announces new replies to screen readers.
• Support for your device's reduced-motion setting: the moving scenes show still images and the scrolling text band stops.
• A pause button on the moving scenes at the top of the home page.
• Light and dark themes you can switch between.
• Text alternatives for images that carry meaning.

4. Known gaps

We're working on these:

• Low-contrast small text. Some small labels, such as the short headings above sections, don't meet the contrast ratio WCAG asks for, and some text is hard to read in dark mode.
• Links inside text. Some links in paragraphs differ from the words around them by color alone.
• Form field borders. The edges of some form fields are low contrast, which can make the fields hard to see.
• Motion. The scrolling text band on the home page has no pause button. It pauses while your pointer is over it, and it stops when reduced motion is on.
• Small screens. At 320 pixels wide (for example, at 400% zoom), some text on the Disclaimer, FAQ and Find your test pages is cut off, and the menu button is partly clipped.
• Chat on phones. On some phones, the on-screen keyboard can cover the chat's "Talk to a person" form. If that happens, call or email us instead.

If any of these gets in your way, contact us and we'll help you another way.

5. Get help or report a barrier

Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you use, if any. We aim to reply within 2 business days and will keep you posted as we work on it.

6. Other ways to order and get your report

When the shop is open, if you can't order on the website, call or email us and we'll help you place your order at the same price, with the same state checks for your shipping address. If you need your report or kit instructions in another format, ask us and we'll provide one.

7. Formal complaints

If you believe we haven't addressed your accessibility concern, you can file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice (ADA). Nothing on this page waives any right you have under the Americans with Disabilities Act, the California Unruh Civil Rights Act, the New York State Human Rights Law or any other law.
